He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hay and Sarah Louise Hay. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Hay; his half-brothers, James (Matthews) and Douglas; his children, Jeff and Sara; and his grandsons, Chase (Millwood), Xander (Tanksley), Hexum and Nolan.
