She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Lee Haynes and Mary Francis Wigginton; her husband Nolon Elijah Ellis; and her siblings, Mattie Lou Davis, Ruby Young, Jay and Bob Haynes.

She is survived by: her sons, Phil Ellis of Conyers, Joel Ellis of Ashfork, AZ, Doug Ellis (Lynne) of Hartwell and Ken Ellis of South Pasadena, FL; her grandsons, Matt Ellis, Jake Ellis (Megan) and Logan Ellis; and her great grandchildren, Piper and Quinn Ellis. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
