He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Arbutus Copley and Cecil Lloyd Copley; his brother-in-law Jerald Couey; and his cousin Pauline Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Betty Ann Copley; his daughter Rebecca Beeman (Joseph) of Gray, Georgia; his grandsons, Daniel Beeman of Tallahassee and Matthew Beeman (Morgan) of Macon, Georgia; his great grandchildren, Lucas James Beeman and Spencer Anne Beeman; and his siblings-in-law, Lucille Couey of Toomsboro, Georgia and Bobby Walden (Shirley) of Milledgeville, Georgia..
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hart's Mortuary Jones County Chapel (307 Pecan Ln, Gray, GA 31032). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
