He was predeceased by: his mother Ada Gardner; and his son Michael Gardner. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Gardner; his son Rusty (Rhonda) of Gray, Georgia; his grandchildren, Dusty Gardner (Stacy), Tara Bullington (Tyler), Lacy Gardner-Hattaway (Jeremy) and Russ Gardner; and his great grandchildren, Cheyenne Davis, Hunter Davis, Eli Gardner, Kennedy Gardner, Evan Gardner, Savannah Gardner, Phoenix Hattaway and River Hattaway.
