She was predeceased by: her son William "Billy" Carr; and her parents, John Maxwell and Mamie Delle Maxwell. She is survived by: her husband B. C. Carr; her sons, Chuck Carr of Burien and John Carr (Marie) of Charlotte; her granddaughters, Catherine Carr (David Kornfield) of Los Angeles and Natalie Carr (Victor Cannestro) of Burien; her sister Delle Carroll of Stockbridge; her niece Celia Balis of Locust Grove, Georgia.; and her caregivers, Freda Pounds, Michelle Dumas, Cynthia Howard, Jaelynn Bledsoe and Lynne Ferrell.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Gray Methodist Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
