He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Nelson and Vickie Harris Nelson; and his grandparents, Randall and Judy Harris Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Candice Miller Nelson of Gray; his children, Amber Hooks (Bailey) of Greenwood, IN., Dylan and Jay Nelson of Thomaston; his siblings, Glynn, Darren Nelson of Thomaston and Sandra Crook (John) of Thomaston; his grandchildren, Kaylee and Connor Hooks; and his uncles, Bill and Robbie Harris. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
