She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lester Hicks and Viola Simmonds. She is survived by: her husband Glen Vaughan; her children, Becky Hancock and Ricky Hancock; her siblings, John Hicks, Danny Hicks and Paulette Griffin; her grandson Jesse Hancock; her sons, Tim (Geni) and Russ (Pamela); her grandchildren, Alan Hancock (Jill), Christie Twining, Nickie Morrison (Chris), Anthony Hancock (April), Blake Hancock (Kaitlin), Casey Dorough, Corey Hancock, Morgan Paden (Jake), Anna Hancock, Jessica Wynn and Cheryl Doughty (Chandler); her sister Linda Schnall; and her daughter-in-law Cindy Hancock. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Gray Memorial Chapel (4378 Gray Hwy, Gray, GA 31032). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
