He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Chiles, Sr. and Princess Brown Chiles; his sons, David Chiles and Danny Chiles; and his brother Peter Chiles.

He is survived by: his daughters, Sandy Russell and Kathy Fogarty; and his sisters, Joyce Hatcher and Jewel McNeal. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; nineteen great-great-grandchildren.
