Though Jewel may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Jewel leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Chiles and Princess Chiles; her husband Arthur McNeal; her brothers, Homer Chiles, Jr. and Joseph D. Chiles; and her son David Alan McNeal.
She is survived by: her sister Joyce Hatcher of Haddock; her grandchildren, A. J. McNeal of Macon and Courtney McNeal of Macon; her caregiver Lynn Barton; and her pet Lucy. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
