James Vernon Shubert Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Vernon Shubert of Gray, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 18, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Shubert and Carrie Roebuck; and his sisters, Laverne Dean, Eve Meadows and Evelyn Beard.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Shubert; his daughter Rhonda Shubert; his grandson William Jones; and his siblings, Elizabeth Brown, Virgil Shubert (Dolly), Virginia Kitchens (David) and Lamar Shubert (Cheryl). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gray Memorial Chapel (4378 Gray Hwy, Gray, GA 31032). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Broadlawn Memorial Gardens (5979 New Bethany Rd, Buford, GA 30518).
