He was predeceased by: his parents, Onie Dade Powell and Joseph Haynes; his wife Rita Ward Haynes; his son Linn Haynes; and his siblings, Thomas, James and Elizabeth Haynes Garner.
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Monica Brady (Terry); his granddaughters, Suzanna and Allyson; his sister-in-law Mary Jo; and his sisters, Rosie Mae Carter and Onnie Jones. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
