He was predeceased by: his son Nathan Joyner; and his siblings, J. C. Joyner, Elmer Joyner, Cleo Moore, Connie Hobbs and Sarah Sanders.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Joyner; his sons, Michael Joyner of Clayton and Dennis Craig Joyner (Regina) of Virginia; his stepdaughter Melinda Tidwell (Rickey) of Lizella; his grandchildren, Colby Joyner, Graham Joyner, Brandon Joyner, Kayla Joyner and Kyler Joyner; his stepgrandchildren, Shawn Tidwell, Chris Tidwell and Brad Tidwell (Kelly); and his brother-in-law Jimmy Horne (Melinda) of Roberta, Georgia.. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren.
