He was predeceased by: his wife Brenda Hamilton; his parents, Perry Hamilton Sr. and Ollie Mae Hamilton; and his siblings, Edward Hamilton, Willie James Sewell, Thelma Calhoun Foster, Barbara Ann Hamilton, Mac Arthur Hamilton and Larry.
He is survived by: his children, Dermus L. Strozier (Bobbie Ann), Patricia C. Hamiton and Cristifer M. Worthans (Gramp); his grandchildren, Mahogany L. Strozier, Dermus L. Strozier II, Heaven T. Mitchell, Shiyunna A. Alford, Thomas J. Ramsey Jr., JaKyrie Hand, Cristifer M. Worthans Jr., Samir M. Worthans and Sariyah L. Jackson; his great grandchild Skye E. Strozier; his close friend Tuwanda Thomas; and his siblings, Perry Hamilton Jr. (Delbra), Jerry Hamilton Mr (Elaine), Bernice and Render (Preston).
