She was predeceased by: her parents, Cora Matthews and Charlie Matthews; her siblings, Rose Ann, Charlie William, John Marshall and James Eugene; and her siblings-in-law, Lydia, Arlena and Johnny.
She is survived by: her sons, Kervin (Tania), Jason, Derrick, Charles Jr. (Monique) and Carlos; her daughters-in-law, Rachel and Michelle; her sisters-in-law, Frances, Patricia and Mattie Ruth; her brother Frederick; her grandchildren, Caesarae, Alicia, Tierra, Kevin and Chyanne; her sisters, Matricia and Gwendolyn; and her goddaughters, Kem and Cierra. She is also survived by nieces and nephews she truly adored, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Thrash & Son's Funeral Home (117 W Main St, Hogansville, GA 30230). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Macedonia Baptist Church (824 Gold Mine Rd, Grantville, GA 30220).
