With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emily M. Conort of Grantville, Georgia, born in Madison, Georgia, who passed away on March 7, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Matthew Etheridge and Henrietta Irene Dowdy Etheridge; her husband William Albert Conort, Jr.; her children, Frances Conort, George B. Conort and William Albert Conort III; and her grandson William Albert Conort IV.
She is survived by: her daughters, Nora Maddox of Norcross and Carol Conort of Grantville. She is also survived by four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
