He was predeceased by: his wife Billie Sue Freeland; and his brother Thomas Lamar Freeland. He is survived by: his children, Suzanne Freeland Bryan (Terry), Rebekah Freeland McDaniel (David) and Alton Freeland; his grandchildren, Wesley Bryan (Tiffany), Margret Turman (Aaron), Alton Bryan, Mitchell McDaniel, Beverly Bullock (Justin), Cortney McDaniel, Kiramae McDaniel, Joseph Freeland, Christopher Freeland and Joshua Freeland; and his siblings, Grady Freeland, Evelyn Worley and Teresa Martin (Deletha Bailey).

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made in Brad's name to Sacred Journey Hospice, 138 Peach Drive, McDonough, GA 30253.
