It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley L. Humphries of Gordon, Georgia, who passed away on September 11, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Richard B. Lavender and Ethel Lavender; her husband Marvin L. Humphries; her children, Mitch Humphries (Denise), Cindy Minter (Mike Jones) and Steve Humphries (Traci); her grandsons, Bennett Humphries and Collin Humphries (Kimberly); her stepgrandchildren, Josh Adams (Mandy) and Casey Adams; and her stepgreat-granddaughter Emma Adams.
