He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lee Blackwell and Grace Tera Braddy Blackwell; and his brother James Henry "Tootsie" Blackwell. He is survived by: his daughter Sheila Brookins of Gordon; his grandchildren, Mickey Lee Thompson, Corey Levi Brookins and Gracie Lejah Reanna Brookins; and his great grandchild Corey Levi "C. J.".
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that. Memorial Contributions be made to the funeral home to assist with final expenses.
