She was predeceased by: her parents, William Esburn Dempsey and Geraldine Hays Dempsey; and her husband Edward Eugene Taylor. She is survived by: her son Tim Taylor; her granddaughter Cassidy Gregoire (Jazz); her siblings, Juanita Dempsey, Carol Dempsey Davis, Terry Dempsey and Rick Dempsey; and her sister-in-law Carolyn Neal. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
