He was predeceased by: his father William Virgil "W. V."; and his brother-in-law Kenneth Squires. He is survived by: his mother Geneva Gravitt Worley; his wife Claudia Scanlon Worley; his daughters, Sommer Worley Bennett (Brandon), Sayward Worley Fite (Adam) and Samantha Worley Spinks (Chris); his stepmother Inez Worley; his sister Carolyn Squires; and his grandchildren, Declan Bennett, Jillian Bennett, Cora Spinks, Wyatt Spinks and Jasper Fite.
