She was predeceased by: her parents, Neal Cox and Elizabeth Cox; her husband Thomas Leon Richardson; and her brothers, N. L. Cox and Royce M. Cox.

She is survived by: her children, Mark Richardson (Brenda), David Richardson (Tami), John Richardson (Rebecca) and Donna Slater; and her brother Jack Cox. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
