With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maria S. Russell of Gordon, Georgia, who passed away on October 3, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gordon L. Russell; her mother Franziska Hoeckmaier; and her brother Johann Hoeckmaier. She is survived by: her son Robert G. Russell; her siblings, Hildegard Ruehl, Theresa Brev, Tony Hoeckmaier and George Hoeckmaier; her nieces, Bridgett and Baribel; her friend John V. Tart of Asheville; her pet Barron (European Doberman); and her daughter Diana Powell of Cloud Croft.
