He was predeceased by: his parents, Wordie Hill and Hattie Sloan. He is survived by: his great-uncle Robert; his aunt Charity Milner; his wife Lillian Hill; his children, Jerry Wordie Hill, Jr. and Adrienne Hill; his sisters, Martha Elliott and Carolyn Sloan; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Lundy (Eugene), Fannie James and Emanuel (Michanda). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was affectionately reared by his Great Uncle and Aunt, Robert and Charity Milner.
