He was predeceased by: his parents, Dillard Darracott and Mabel Crosby Darracott; his siblings, Beatrice D. Waters, LuNeal D. Wright, D. C. Darracott and Garnett Darracott; his son Robert Darracot; and his grandson Jackson Moore.
He is survived by: his daughters, Suzanne D. Gatlin (Randy) of Griffin and Dawn D. Moore of Walhalla, SC; his stepchildren, Ricky Haralson (Tonya) of Rayle and Sandy Moore of Covington; his close friend Ineata King of Elberton; and his grandchildren, Jeff Guynn, Joey Darracott, Steven Darracott, Parker Moore, Rachel Estes, Jay Gatlin, Sami Clark, Kara Haralson, Josh Moore and Kelli Moore. He is also survived by several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
