She was predeceased by: her parents, John Miller Gazaway and Ora Mae Fowler; and her son Randy Reese. She is survived by: her sister Doris; her husband Maxwell Dexter; her daughter Laura Gwen Reese (Charles Chambers) of Dalton; her grandchildren, Rochelle, Eric Beckstine of Charleston, April, Bucky Sorrow of Athens, Randy and Heather Reese of Oakman; and her great grandchildren, Piper, Annika, Max, Fisher, Ada and Donovan.
To honor her unrelenting love for animals, donations in her honor can be made to the Humane Society of Georgia.
