Taylor; his children, Asha Taylor of McIntyre, Shivonta Veal of Milledgeville, Georgia and Derrick Tyrone Taylor, Jr.; his brother Huby Knight Jr.; his mother-in-law Sandra Myrick of Gordon, Georgia; his siblings-in-law, Tashika Myrick of Gordon, Georgia, David Myrick of Gordon, Georgia, Dexter Myrick (Tonya) of Milledgeville, Georgia and Tristan Parham of Milledgeville, Georgia; his uncle Douglas Womble of Irwinton, Georgia; his grandchildren, Kylani of McIntyre, Khenix Ford of McIntyre, Xorri, Xhaavin, Xiiah and Xaeyiin Veal of Milledgeville, Georgia; his son Theon Ford; his great grandchild Tu'Aijah Warren; and his brothers, Ferrell Strange, Sr., Benjamin Strange, Jr. and Shurn Chatman. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
