He is survived by: his mother Dessie Ruth Ridley Montgomery of Ranger; his sons, Jarrett Montgomery of Calhoun and Mason Lee Montgomery of Las Vegas, Nevada; and his siblings, Donna (Michael Blalock), Judy Darlene Chartrand of South Port, Carl "Buck" Peek of Ranger, Danny Lee Montgomery of Nashville and Jerry Lee Montgomery of Georgia. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
