He was predeceased by: his father Jack Cown; and his granddaughter Sawyer Cown. He is survived by: his mother Carolyn Cown; his wife Cecille Cown; his sons, Cole Cown (Christina) of Greenville and Chance Cown (Megan) of Watkinsville; his grandchildren, Cooper, Connelly, Finley, Campbell, Jack and Brooks; and his brothers, Jimmy Cown (Sherre) of Milledgeville, Steve Cown (Tammy) of Monroe and Tony Cown (Kelly) of Monroe.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, September 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Bostwick United Methodist Church.
