He was predeceased by: his parents, George Manila Edmondson and Claudine Wilkens; and his son Charles Edmondson. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Edmondson; his son Eugene; his daughter-in-law Lee Edmondson; his sons, Mike Edmondson and Lynn; his daughter-in-law Millie Edmondson; and his siblings, Elenor Sims, George (Ann Edmondson), David (Betty Edmondson) and Harold (Marie Edmondson). He is also survived by ten grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
