She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Caroline Blackstock and Jefferson Blackstock; her children, Jefferson Curtis South (Cindy South), Steven Emory South and Carolann South Yeater (Kevin Yeater); her grandchildren, Daniel Godfrey South (Lindsey South), Jefferson Tyler South, David Benjamin Yeater (Dana Yeater), Dana Lyndon Potts (Adam Potts), Taylor Rae Golden (Patrick Golden) and Jefferson Dean South; and her great grandchildren, London Reece South, Hayden Wyatt South, Benton James Yeater, Hagon Emory Yeater, Greyson South Yeater, Cason Michael Potts and Emory Lyndon Potts.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that a donation be made to Walton County Animal Control, 1411 S Madison Avenue, Monroe, GA 30655.
