She was predeceased by: her parents, Lathan Leland Baxter of Glennville and Gussie Lee Brannen Baxter of Glennville; her son Gary Leland Fields; and also William Doyle Fields. She is survived by: her daughters, Melinda Scarborough (Fritz) of Glenwood and Jeanine Meers (Rod) of Greensboro, NC; her sisters, Hilda Tootle of Reidsville and Etwinda Rogers (Emery) of Reidsville; and her grandchildren, Freling Scarborough IV, Will (Kate), Daniel, Michael and Kimberly Meers. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask for donations to be made to the Glenwood United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 326, Glenwood, GA 30428.
