With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Tommy Tipton of Glenwood, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 18, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Tommy may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomas Tipton, Jr. and Martha Delores Palmer Tipton. He is survived by: his daughter Anna Delores Tipton of Vidalia; his grandsons, Jason, Justin and Joshua; and his siblings, Norma Linda Tipton Taylor (Bobby) of Americus and Dr. Keith Tipton (Judy) of Glenwood.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Glenwood North Third St. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
