He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Dixon and Anne C. Dixon; and his grandparents, Charlie Dixon, Abby Dixon, Kent Currie and Emma Currie.
He is survived by: his sister Suzanne D. Usher (Gary) of Glenwood; his aunt Ruth Hensley (Walter) of Winder; and his close friends, Tom Purcell, Matthew Johnson, Carey Anderson, Danny Kennedy (Carolyn) and Perry Conner.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his honor to the Sweet Onion Animal Protection Society of Vidalia at PO Box 210 Vidalia GA 30475.
