With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth (Betty) McCormick (Glenwood, Georgia), who passed away on August 22, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Gregg A. McCormick; her parents, John W. Schmidt and Eva Datt Schmidt; and her siblings, Kenneth Schmidt, Harry Schmidt, Lyle Schmidt and Marian Boltz.
She is survived by: her husband Robert L. McCormick, Sr.; her sisters, Erla Miller and Velma Boltz; her children, Leslie Eichelberger (Corey), Robert McCormick, Jr. (Penny) and John D. McCormick (Wendy); and her grandchildren, Patrick McCormick (Ashley), Zachary W. Eichelberger, Benjamin, Lily McCormick, Jacob, Jason Rangel, Nicholas and Carl Clark.
Due to Covid-19 there will not be a memorial service at this time.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dalton First United Methodist Church.
