We are sad to announce that on February 22, 2025, at the age of 79, Cathern Brown of Glenwood, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joe Brown; her parents, Thurman Willis "Speck" Foskey and Varnell Sims Foskey; and her siblings, Laura Winell Padgett, Elmas Thurman (T'Foskey) and Robert Sims Foskey.
She is survived by: her children, Vearna Brown Keene (Rusty) of Glenwood and Joe "Buddy" Brown, Jr. of Glenwood; her grandchildren, Emily Catherine Hartley (Joey) of Glenwood, Ana Keene of Glenwood, Brandon Keene (Brandi) of Uvalda and Brooke Keene Sharpe of Dublin; her great grandchildren, Layton Johnson, Paisley Hartley, Mallory Sharpe, Emberlyn Keene, Adley Joe Hartley and Ridge Keene; and her brother Billy E. Foskey (Charlotte) of Vidalia.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home (310 North St W, Vidalia, GA 30475). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
