He was predeceased by: his parents, William Boyd and Lucy Boyd; and his siblings, Robert, Edward, Larry, Mavis Vascile and Wanda Faye.
He is survived by: his wife Wynda Boyd of Long County, GA; his children, Willie James Boyd, Jr. (Tiffany) of Claxton, GA, Krista and Dana Boyd of Glennville, GA; his grandchildren, Tahje and Taniyah Boyd; his great grandchildren, Aubree Carr and Kaiyr Boyd; his siblings, Philip Boyd (Donna) of Ludowici, GA, Phoebe Smiley of Ludowici, GA, Angela Boyd (Robert) of Sanford, NC, Lynda Johnson of Glennville, GA, Brenda Jinks (Roger) of Glennville, GA and Barbara Boyd of Hinesville, GA; and his close friends, Derrick Brooks, Sr. and Sylvester Melvin. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the King and Sons Funeral Home and Cremation Services (5236 US-301, Glennville, GA 30427). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location.
