She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond Jernigan, Jr.; her daughter Janice Shuman; and her great grandchild Sadie Mae Jernigan. She is survived by: her children, Gloria DeYoung (late Ronnie), Deborah Wood (Ken), Waverly Jernigan and Roger Jernigan (Jodie); and her sisters, Joann Green, Mildred C. Wade and Shirley Ann Allen. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
