He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Washington and Perlie Mae Calhoun Harrell; his wife Mary Harrell; his son Gaylord Harrell; his siblings, Stanley Harrell and Ellen Shearer; and his niece Missy Massey.
He is survived by: his sisters, Marie Massey of Glennville and Patricia Sutton of Collins.
