She was predeceased by: her parents, W. G McCurdy and Virginia Surrency McCurdy; her husband Buddy; her siblings, Joy McCurdy, Jimmy McCurdy (Janice) and Joe McCurdy (Ann); and her nephew Lee McCurdy.

She is survived by: her children, Jan Oliver (Bert) of Glennville, Dr. Richard Bennett (Maggie) of Gainesville, Stetson Bennett (Jennifer) of Blackshear, John Bennett (Misty) of Gray and Dr. William Bennett (Mary) of Rome; and her sisters-in-law, Anita Bennett of Gainesville, Charlotte Tillman (Jimmy) of Maggie Valley, NC and Jean Cunningham (Joe) of Jesup.

Memorials may be made to Little Creek Cemetery, 5027 Little Creek Road, Jesup, GA 31546.
