He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Paul Armstrong and Thelma Fern Armstrong (Hutson); his son Harland Armstrong Jr.; and his brother Paul Wayne Armstrong. He is survived by: his wife Janet Armstrong of Lyons; his daughter Barbara Hutchison (Kevin) of Ailey; his grandchildren, Michaela and Kevin Hutchison; his daughter Kristie Addison (Joseph) of Dearing; his grandchildren, Sarah Grace Addison and Izzie Nicole Addison; and his sister Barbara Grabowski (Tony). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
