He was predeceased by: his parents, Lambert Causby and Glothine Lula Hanke Denton. He is survived by: his children, Cindy Woodward (David) of Ludowici, Caron Denton (Kevin Mitchell) of Hinesville, Cherl Futch (David) of Glennville and Marc Denton (Kim) of Hinesville; his siblings, Sharon Arendt of Florida, Dan Denton (Patti) of Michigan and Paul Denton (Roberta) of Michigan; and his brothers-in-law, David Vallus and Robert Arendt. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Glennville Funeral Home (403 W Barnard St, Glennville, GA 30427). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery (8819 US-301, Glennville, GA 30427).
