He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan Conner Sr. and Earlene James; his brother Joseph Anthony James; his uncle Leon James; and his nephew Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Conner; his children, Carol Danielle Conner, Dynesha Danielle Collins, Dan Conner III and Keri Danaisha Conner; his grandchildren, Aaron Slater, Traedon Fountain, Xavier Slater Jr. and Kamilah Fountain; his siblings, Carl James Sr. (Elrica) and Johnnie Mae Cooper (Don); and his stepsisters, Jo Ann Hall, Charlotte Hall and Patricia Williams.
