It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jackie Dixon (Girard, Georgia), born in Louisville, Georgia, who passed away on April 19, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Milo Joiner and Velver Wasden Joiner; her husband Willie Clyde Dixon; her son Timothy Kevin Wall; and her siblings, Dorothy Fischer, Wayne Joiner and William Joiner.
She is survived by: her adoptive son Jimmy Roberts of Gulf Port, FL; and her grandchildren, Jolene Rivera (Manuel) of Millington, TN, Sunshine Ward (Derek) of Waynesboro, Kayla Tannenbaum (Evan) of Graniteville, Shane Godbee (Lori) of Girard, Freeman Wall of Melbourne, Savannah Campbell of Aiken and Avery Ferron of Aiken. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, those desiring to make memorials, the family requests donations be made to the nurses of the Burke County Hospital in Waynesboro.
