He was predeceased by: his parents, George Shearer and Viola Shearer; and his daughter Glenda Mahon. He is survived by: his children, David Shearer (Patty Burns), Donna Miller (John) and Charles Shearer. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
