He was predeceased by: his siblings, Sandra Jones and W. P. "Bill" Sanders, III. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Hamilton Sanders; his children, Carolyn Marie Sanders and Oliver; his daughter-in-law Erin Sanders; his sisters, Kay (Ralph Dixon) and Rose Marie McKiney; and his grandchildren, Hamilton Laboranti, Olivia Sanders, Laboranti and Savannah Sanders. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
