It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Obee Harris of Gillsville, Georgia, who passed away on March 2, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Joe Harris; and his wife Marie Buffington Harris. He is survived by: his children, Andy Harris (Kim) of Baldwin, Amy Sheppard (Michael) of Maysville and Rhonda Martin (Todd) of Gillsville; and his siblings, James Harris of Lula, John Harris of Gillsville, Howard Harris of Commerce and Ruth Parson of Gillsville. He is also survived by six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
