He is survived by: his wife Ann Green Smith of Gillsville; his daughter Laura; his son-in-law Danny Kirby of Statesville, NC; his daughter Sherry Smith of Asheville, NC; his sister Julie; and his brother-in-law Randy Whisnant of Clermont. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren and other loving relatives.
