It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Brock of Gillsville, Georgia, born in Commerce, Georgia, who passed away on April 28, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Linton Newton and Ethel Gregory Weldon; and her siblings, Edna Cochran and Harold Weldon. She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Brogan of Commerce and Pam Ferguson of Gillsville; her brother William Weldon of Arcade; and her grandchildren, Michael Ledford (Angel), Crystal Rogers (Daryl), Jennifer Ledford, Joseph Dempsey and Jamie Ferguson. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
