He was predeceased by: his parents, John Reuben and Annie Reed Morris Sims. He is survived by: his wife Heaven; his daughter Amber Sims (Nate Noack); his sisters, Joyce Sims Miller (Dwight) and Jan Sims Hulsey; and his nieces and nephews, Matthew Miller (Laura), Shannon Miller (Cindy), Jesse Boyd Evans (Scott), Kristen Hulsey and Anna Miller.
