He is survived by: his children, Sharon Samples of Gainesville, Terry Bagwell (Curtis) of Gainesville and Matthew Stephens (Jenny); his grandchildren, C. J. Randolph (Todd), Justin Samples (Breanna) and Brittany Smith Courtney (Jeffrey); his siblings, Ann Westmoreland, Lois Bishop (Ted), Edward Stephens (Martha) and Horace Stephens (Jo); and his sister-in-law Gladys Stephens. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
